If you haven't thrown away all those wonderful Christmas cards your friends and family sent you then I have a fun and meaningful tradition for you. Every year we take down each card and cut out the names.
Then, we fill this box up with the names and each night at dinner we draw a name or family name out and spend time praying for them.
I just love to see how God works through these prayers. Most of the time we may not know specifically what that person may be needing prayer for, but usually on just the right day we draw that name and later find that our prayers were felt. It allows us as a family to take the focus off of us and onto others!
